LogicPRO® Leak Tester

The MAHLE Dry Leak Tester employs a differential vacuum test method to do a quick leak check on vehicle fuel evaporative system for OBD-II compliance purpose. MAHLE Test Systems employs a statistical approach to quickly test a complete system or individual components for small leaks. The leak test is performed using vacuum or pressure, depending on the application. Convenient connections are available for both Capless and with-fuel cap systems.

Key features

FUEL SYSTEM LEAK TESTER BENEFITS

  • Quickly test a “dry” fuel system (without fuel) by connecting to any access point on the vehicle, including the fuel filler neck on the tank.
  • Reduces false evaporative failure incidents at test stations. Test through fuel tank cap fitting or any other convenient access on the fuel system.
  • Production solution proven at 14 assembly plants.

COMPONENT LEAK TESTER FEATURES

  • Order of magnitude very small leaks can be quickly detected for typical components.
  • Flexible fixture options enable simultaneous component testing that does not impede line rate output

FLUID FILL LEAK STATION TESTER

  • The MAHLE Leak Tester can be easily integrated with existing fluid fill stations (brake fill, coolant, transmission, power steering, engine oil, etc.) to expedite leak testing.
