Andreas Huber, Head of MAHLE Service Solutions

Andreas Huber was named Global Head of MAHLE Service Solutions, a division of MAHLE Aftermarket Inc, in September, 2017. Huber, who joined MAHLE in 2015 as Head of Tech Services, and was later promoted to General Manager for MAHLE Service Solutions in North America, has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket and within the Tier-1 environment.

Huber has a strong software engineering and project management background. Throughout his career he has held various positions in engineering, product management and system design. His areas of expertise include international project management, strategic product management and automotive diagnostics.

Huber leads the Service Solutions division, which specializes in the development, manufacturing and distribution of automotive services and testing, tools and maintenance equipment, including air conditioning service, fluid exchange, nitrogen tire inflation, lifting equipment and diagnostic scan tools.

Before joining MAHLE Aftermarket, Huber was the Director of System Design and Product Management at Harman Becker. He spent nearly 13 years at Robert Bosch GmbH and Robert Bosch LLC where he served in a variety of engineering and business solutions roles within the Service Solutions area.

Huber holds a diploma in Information Technologies from Berufsakademie Karlsruhe and a diploma in Industrial Engineering Management from AKAD Fachhochschule Lahr, both located in his native Germany. Huber has worked for several years in the United States in the Automotive Aftermarket and is currently based in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Ted Hughes, Head of Marketing

Ted Hughes, AAP, was named head of marketing in North America for MAHLE Aftermarket Inc. in February 2011. Hughes leads the marketing department with responsibility for promotions, public relations, advertising, motorsports programs and the advancement of all electronic and Web-based activities. He recently celebrated 15 years with the company, having served in various marketing roles since graduating in 2000 from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor of business administration (marketing) degree. He volunteers his time on multiple industry committees in the auto care industry and was the 2014 recipient of the Auto International Association (AIA) “Young Executive of the Year” award.

Though Ted Hughes has worked for the same company since the start of his career in the auto care industry in 2000 multiple acquisitions and divestitures provided many different experiences upon which to draw from in his current role as Head of Marketing for MAHLE Aftermarket Inc.

Hughes assumed the Marketing Brand Manager role two years after beginning as an entry-level marketing professional with Dana Corporation. Drawing knowledge from industry influencers like Jerry McCabe, John Washbish, Max Dull and Scott Howat – he learned that developing his own style was his path to success. However, Hughes believes that his team is what ultimately makes it possible for him to achieve success.

Hughes believes this industry has experienced ,many changes throughout the past 15 years; unprecedented challenges for today’s manufacturers provide new opportunities for success. Presenting fresh ideas that challenge others to look at things in a different way is core to his style.

Since MAHLE acquired the engine parts division from Dana in 2007, and formed MAHLE Clevite Inc. (now MAHLE Aftermarket Inc.), his track record for managing budgets, and creating and implementing dynamic marketing strategies, present a unique opportunity for MAHLE to continue on the path of success.

Kathy Kedzior, Head of Business Development

Kathy Kedzior was named Manager of Business Development for MAHLE Service Solutions in January, 2016. Prior to that she has held several sales management roles in MAHLE, including MAHLE Powertrain and MAHLE Test Systems groups. Kathy leads the sales team of Service Solutions responsible for vehicle manufacturing and diagnostic test solutions for OEs. Kathy has been with MAHLE for almost 30 years. She graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor of business administration degree. Kathy is an experienced sales leader in vehicle powertrain engineering and all phases of vehicle electrical diagnostics. This includes OEM manufacturing, dealership and aftermarket diagnostic tools. Her years in working with OE calibration and control, manufacturing electrical test and service diagnostic tool groups have helped her to understand the OE need for expertise in electrical and electronics development and support.

Kathy has volunteered her time in various industry organizations including the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and Equipment and Tools Institute (ETI) (Equipment and Tools Institute) helping to promote discussion and involvement in vehicle service and diagnostics. She is a former board member of ETI. Kathy is currently the co-chair of the of SAE Automobile Electronics Activity for SAE World Congress, past Chair of the SAE Service Technology Program Committee and recipient of the SAE Forest R. McFarland Award which recognizes individuals for their outstanding contributions toward the work of the SAE.

Mohan Sethi, Business Development Manager

Mohan Sethi brings more than 18 years of experience to business development for MAHLE Service Solutions, a division of MAHLE Aftermarket Inc. In this position he works with customers to develop solutions, including software, hardware, web and mobile applications, in order to make their businesses more efficient, support new vehicle technologies, or to replace legacy systems. Having worked with MAHLE since 2015, Sethi previously held roles in product management and business development.

Sethi has spent his career in the automotive diagnostics industry, working with OEM’s globally to develop diagnostics and testing hardware tools and software applications. He has experience working with both manufacturing plants and service repair shop environments, and his OEM experience spans the globe, including North America, Japan, India, China and Europe.

Prior to joining MAHLE, Sethi worked with Bosch and SPX Service Solutions in roles ranging from product manager, product director and global OEM product management.

Sethi holds a Master of Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona, and BA in electrical engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology in his native India. Sethi is based in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
